Developing a Successful Brand and Website

Presented by:  Shannon Routley

We’ll look at examples of how competing businesses, who started at the same time can take remarkably different paths to success or stagnation.  We’ll break down some of the elements that can bring you success online such as Search Engine Optimization, pay-per-click advertising, proper messaging, social media and visual design. We’ll discuss how in developing your own brand voice, you’ll display a greater level of sophistication for your clients.

Choosing a Web-Developer and Website Platform:

In the second part of the presentation, we’ll look at some of the common web-development platforms such as Wordpress and Squarespace covering costs, features, and usability. Lastly, we’ll discuss what you should expect from a web-developer and content-writer.

Floor open for questions and discussion from the audience.
