Managing Multi-Generational Teams (Baby Boomers, Gen X & Millennials, oh my!!)

Presented by Jennifer Galea, Human Resources Manager
The Corporation of the Town of Kingsville

This issue is a topic of conversation we have all had, whether it's within our own business or with our clients.

Jennifer will highlight how to make a multi-generational team work together more efficiently by understanding the unique ways each generation is motivated and how they approach the workplace.

Regional Developers:  Beverly Haggins, CPB & Penny Brando, CPB

Cost is free - You are responsible for your own meal and beverage.

Dining out with food allergies can be a challenge, but it can be done safely. The best way to stay safe is by being informed and communicating your needs.

Before you go: ‘Be Informed and Inform’. We recommend contacting the restaurant ahead of time and talking to the restaurant manager or Kitchen manager.

At the Restaurant: ‘Communicate’. Talk to the server upon arriving and also to the IPBC regional network chair and explain your food allergies.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to be a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) and to receive greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

IPBC Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success; they are a unique opportunity to combine learning while networking with your peers. Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterward, you must join and become an IPBC Member to attend future Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free, ” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
