Leveraging Cloud Accounting to Better Service your Clients

Presented by Teddy Sullivan, Xero Senior Account Manager

Discussion around why cloud accounting not only drives efficiencies in your bookkeeping practice, but why this transition is also what's best for your client's businesses.  Xero's main objective worldwide is to improve the world by helping grow the small business economy; we accomplish this by empowering bookkeepers & accountants to produce up to date information, allowing for real time advice.  No longer are the days of providing advice 3 or 6 months after the fact.

Presenter's Bio:

4 Years in Public Practice, and 2 years in consulting before joining Xero as a Partner Consultant 2 years ago in Denver. Moved to Toronto to become a Senior Account Manager with Xero in July 2017.

Teddy has worked closely with hundreds of bookkeepers & accountants over the last 2 years helping them adapt and streamline how they do the books with their small business clients. This involves high level strategy discussions surrounding how to best market their services and how to wisely set up their internal teams, all the way down into the details of how to change their process work flows to maximize the advantages of using cloud technologies.

Regional Developer:  Linda Baldwin, CPB and Wendy Woolmore, CPB

Cost of the meeting is $20.00 and light dinner is included.

Dining out with food allergies can be a challenge, but it can be done safely. The best way to stay safe is by being informed and communicating your needs.

Before you go: ‘Be Informed and Inform’.
We recommend contacting the restaurant ahead of time and talking to the restaurant manager or Kitchen manager.

At the Restaurant: ‘Communicate’.
Talk to the server upon arriving and also to the IPBC regional network chair and explain your food allergies.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for one Professional Development Credit

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
