Getting Cloud Ready

Presented by Tanya Hilts, CPB
                        Cloud Accounting Specialist
                        Member, Intuit Trainer Writer Network

Are you ready to make that leap into the world of cloud accounting but not really sure where to jump in? Join us for this session on getting ready for the cloud.  Learn what step to take first and get introduced to a few apps that are perfect to get your journey started.  Remember it’s all about just taking that first step.

Presenter's Bio:

With over twenty years of bookkeeping and income tax experience, Tanya is the founder of Cloud Bookkeeping Services. She has a passion for streamlining processes and increasing office efficiency and client outcomes. With a relentless vision to bring the very best tools to her team as well as the bookkeeping community in general, Tanya created “Bookkeeper’s Bootcamp,” a program which assists bookkeepers who wish to improve and stimulate growth and prosperity focusing on changes within the industry and emerging cloud technology.

Tanya is an IPBC Certified Professional Bookkeeper, an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and a Member of the Intuit Trainer Writer Network. To Tanya, being a forward-thinking entrepreneur means constantly increasing her own knowledge level and obtaining more certifications, education, and experience in order to not only increase the services and benefits she can offer her clients, but to spread that awareness to other members of the bookkeeping community. She is proud to be the Canadian Finalist for the 2018 Intuit Firm of the Future, as well as a 2016 Intuit sponsored Black Swan (mentoring under Ron Baker), one of the 21 finalists for the 2017 “Top 10 Influencers in the Canadian Bookkeeping World”, a Hubdoc Top 50 Cloud Accounting Firm, as well as an Insightful Accountants 2018 top 100 ProAdvisors.

One of the most important core values of Cloud Bookkeeping Services is the team’s belief in sharing knowledge and contributing to the community. Tanya also volunteers as a mentor for Futurepreneur Canada, helping to guide and shape tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.

Regional Developer:  Danielle Gadoury, CPB

This meeting is free to attend. You are responsible for your own meal and beverages!

Dining out with food allergies can be a challenge, but it can be done safely. The best way to stay safe is by being informed and communicating your needs.

Before you go: ‘Be Informed and Inform’. We recommend contacting the restaurant ahead of time and talking to the restaurant manager or Kitchen manager.

At the Restaurant: ‘Communicate’. Talk to the server upon arriving and also to the IPBC regional network chair and explain your food allergies.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for one Professional Development Credit

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
