Sage Presentation - Social Media Platforms and Profiles
Presented by Rachel Fisch, CPB - Accountants Group Leader - Canada for Sage

Social Media is everywhere and can feel overwhelming when being told what to do and how. Rachel will break down the various platforms, their key differences, how to get started and how to optimize and automate your social media presence. Most importantly, we will discuss your WHY and how that will drive the decisions you make in this area, from platform to connections to content. Come prepared to share and discuss your biggest social media questions and challenges.

Rachel Fisch is a CPB and joined Sage as Accountants Group Leader in July 2017 with over 20 years’ experience in bookkeeping and accounting. She worked her way up to Corporate Controller in industry, owned her own bookkeeping practice for 5 years, and most recently was National Bookkeeping Lead for Deloitte. Rachel is frequently in demand as a dynamic speaker and thought leader from local to international conferences and events including Sage Summit, IPBC Ignite, Accountex, Allinial Global AI Summit, AGN International North American Summit and more!

Rachel is an advocate of the highest level for technology in accounting with all the integrated tools available to create seamless workflow solutions for clients of all sizes.

Rachel lives with her husband and two amazing daughters near Kitchener, Ontario, and is based out of Sage’s Toronto office.

Regional Developer:  Tracy Lampron, CPB

The cost of the meeting is free; however, you are responsible for your own dinner and beverage.

Dining out with food allergies can be a challenge, but it can be done safely. The best way to stay safe is by being informed and communicating your needs.

Before you go: ‘Be Informed and Inform’. We recommend contacting the restaurant ahead of time and talking to the restaurant manager or Kitchen manager.

At the Restaurant: ‘Communicate’.  Talk to the server upon arriving and also to the IPBC regional network chair and explain your food allergies.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for one Professional Development Credit

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
