Tax Tune Up Workshop
Presented by: Allan Loiselle

Your client has a small business and says “I renovated the shop this year, and it cost a ton of money. But I can write all that stuff off, can’t I?” Now in its 13th annual edition, Allan Loiselle’s Basic / Intermediate Tax Tune-Up© workshop is designed for those who are new to the tax preparation profession, returning seasonal tax preparers and more experienced people who would like a refresher. It’s a fast-paced, informative, interactive workshop designed to answer this question and more. A combination of visual presentations, information-packed workbook, class discussion and individual exercises, help you get to where you want to go. You will receive useful ideas and knowledge you can put to work right away.

Allan Loiselle is a somewhat retired personal tax and small business accountant with 30 years experience working with clients just like yours. He understands the challenges of tax preparation and bookkeeping from the perspective of someone providing services to individuals and small business owners. He has been there and done that. Allan is a life member of the Association of Tax and Accounting Professionals, and served on their board of directors for many years, including three terms as President. He is a former chair of the Finance Committee of Westview Baptist Church of London, and is a charter member of Rotary District 6330 Passport club, and is currently the Rotary District 6330 Treasurer.

Allan and his wife, Selina live just north of Grand Bend on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. When not presenting, Allan likes working around their place, biking, snowshoeing and reading historical novels about the 19th century Royal Navy.

A few of the comments about last year’s workshop:

“The workshop Allan runs is great for first-time tax preparers and veterans (good refresher). It strikes a great balance in introducing material and providing opportunities to practice the concepts.”

“Relevant info provided in a clear manner, easy to follow.”

“Great knowledge, helps to offer information & show greater value to your clients.”

Please ensure your registration is completed no later than January 31st, 2019! Seating is limited!

Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for six Professional Development Credits

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
