Some people fear the cloud and apps will lead to weakened client relationships and ultimately lost clients. What we're seeing is the exact opposite. Those firms that have established cloud-based accounting programs with controlled automation have freed up significant amounts of time to do more for their clients. They're spending less time on document management (and chasing clients), data entry, and billings and collections. And instead, have more time to spot anomalies, identify opportunities for savings, and every now and then have enough time to enjoy a cup of coffee with their client and find out what's keeping them up at night. This session will highlight what can be automated in your bookkeeping workflow with cloud apps, which will free up the time to add value back to your client relationships.

- The realities of the cloud and app-driven automation

- Opportunities for automation and the apps needed

- How to start value add conversations
