  • What is data fraud?
  • Why does cybersecurity matter and what do I need to know and do to help mitigate it?
  • Privacy – what are the responsibilities for businesses and service providers?
  • Smart technology but at what risk?

About the speaker:

Marc Laflamme, PCIP, CFE has experience in the hospitality and retail sectors from senior management to the executive level and also has experience in non-profit accounting & finance.

He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) specializing in the area of fraud prevention. Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success.

They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Attending this meeting qualifies for one Professional Development Credit

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
