Over 80% of small businesses fail and most of these failures are due to cash flow. It’s the biggest stressor for our clients yet many of us don’t offer this as a service. Even though cash flow services add more value to the client AND add more profit to our firms, we’re often still not offering it to our clients. Why is that?

Typically this is because we either don’t know where to start with cash flow or we haven’t found a way to efficiently offer cash flow as a service.

After providing cash flow forecasting as a service inside our our bookkeeping, accounting an advisory firm for the past 5 years, I’m going to share with you how cash flow forecasting became a key pillar in our client service offering and how we deliver it efficiently.

During this presentation you’ll gain an understanding of how to get started and earn more profit in your firm.

First we’ll define the different types of cash flow forecasting and you’ll then learn how to identify the clients that are best suited for cash flow services. You’ll gain an understanding of the importance of clean data and how to effectively fit cash flow forecasting into your workflow. We’ll then walk through the creation of a cash flow forecast using a tool that we all currently have access to, excel. Lastly, we’ll discuss how to choose a cash flow forecasting tool to add to your app stack so that you can do cash flow forecasting efficiently, adding more client value and firm profits.

Before you go: ‘Be Informed and Inform’. We recommend contacting the restaurant ahead of time and talking to the restaurant manager or Kitchen manager.

At the Restaurant: ‘Communicate’. Talk to the server and your RNC upon arriving and advise them of your food allergies.

Block out time on your calendar for this event right now. Why? Just imagine networking with some of the top bookkeepers in the country. Imagine the chance to be on the fast track to a more lucrative practice, to being a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB) and to receiving greater professional recognition inside and outside of this network.

Regional Meetings are a vital part of that formula for success. They're a unique chance to combine learning – a guest speaker shares expertise that's sure to make your work a bit easier – with fun and powerful networking.

Each meeting includes a guest speaker with a Q&A session; a discussion among the attendees about a marketing topic, a challenge someone may be facing, or another topic important to you; and networking. Non-members are welcome to attend three meetings to evaluate IPBC. Afterwards, you must join to participate in Regional Meetings.

Our meetings are "Scent Free” and business casual attire is appreciated. This is a business meeting. Please, turn off your cell phone before entering the room, and sorry no children allowed.

We look forward to seeing you there!
