2018 Board of Director Nominations

Nominations are now open for 2018 IPBC Board of Directors.

The role of IPBC Directors is to foster development of the organization by governing and, working together with the CEO, establish and oversee the strategic direction of the IPBC. As a result, Directors have the opportunity to:

·  apply their skills and expertise to help develop the IPBC

·  gain experience and new skills to further their professional and personal development          

·  advocate for the bookkeeping profession in Canada

Important dates and deadlines

June 14, 2018 - Call for nominations

July 4, 2018 - Nominations close (5:00 PM EDT) 

August 3, 2018 - Nominees announced to membership 

August 10, 2018 - Electronic election opens        

August 24, 2018 - Electronic election closes         

August 29, 2018 - Announcement of election results       

Elected candidates will be invited as guests to attend the September 11, 2018 Board of Directors meeting which is held in conjunction with the IPBC Ignite Conference in Calgary. The meeting is held in person over dinner and lasts approximately 3 hours. During this meeting you will be provided with a board orientation as well as an orientation on the tools used by the Board.
